Import Blogger to WordPress – formatting issues, LINES

I have just imported my blog from Blogger to WordPress and am having difficulties adjusting the formatting of LINE SPACING, which seems to have gone askew!!
– my blog at Blogger did not have any fancy or custom fonts. The font transferred over just fine.
– the structure of the posts themselves and images contained within transferred are also just fine.
***ISSUE: the posts, now in WordPress, do not have ANY line spaces in between paragraphs!***
– I went in to the edit the posts and tried to manually enter line spacing. Annoying as hell.
-when I went to “publish”, none of the changes were there.
Might someone be able to assist with this issue? I have Googled as many different ways to query this and can’t find an adequate answer!
