Import content from prior website

  Hi there,
  I started to build this website on godaddy, but i want to transfer everything from there to WordPress. Is it possible to import content? Or will i have to start from scratch?

  Hi there,

  let me explain two scenarios:

  1. Your site uses an open-source version of WordPress
  2. Your site uses the website builder offered by GoDaddy

  If it’s powered by WordPress, one of the methods described here can be used to migrate it to WordPress.com.

  If it was built using GoDaddy’s own website builder Since the GoDaddy builder isn’t compatible with WordPress, then follow this guide:

  There are two options for domain handling as well:
