    Will importing my current layout automatically triggers a domain transfer?

    Hi there! Can you tell us more about what you are looking to import exactly? Do you have a WordPress site hosted elsewhere that you are looking to migrate to WordPress.com? If so, we are offering free migrations for a limited amount of time and could do it for you. It requires a Creator Plan or higher.

    With a free site, you’d be limited to importing content only, which won’t bring over the design, themes, plugins, etc: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-a-sites-content/

    Importing content or migrating a site also won’t automatically trigger any domain transfer. Domain transfers typically require an EPP/auth code to be submitted along with additional steps performed at the current domain registrar.
