Hi! The layout won’t import, since Blogger uses a totally separate theme setup. You’d need to import the text and images, then set up your columns.
Use these steps:

anyway i did import my data but everything is kind of messed up :) i need to figure out a LOT of things! every theme has advantages and disadvantages different from each other

For the themes that don’t support the Site Editor, you can change their settings through the Customizer.
i mean now i have selected a theme i dont know how to make 3 columns for example without theme editor (beta)
The theme you have selected has many sidebar options. Here’s how to configure them:

got it!
and
i have to put my first image of every post as a feature image to show in main page?

Here’s how to set a featured image for each post:
https://wordpress.com/support/featured-images/#set-a-featured-image
And to have those images displayed in the blog view of your homepage, go to Appearance > Customize > Content Options and check the “Display on blog and archives” option.
-
hallo! i know how to put a feature image but the thing is that the other one that you told me >> Display on blog and archives” option is already checked
but i am saying another thing. i have imported all my data from my other site to wordpress as text and images. how will i get the first image of every post automatically show on main page blog? i have to do it for 500 posts all one by one to set it as feature image?
-
Hello there,
If the posts themselves do not have a featured image before import, they would need to be assigned a featured image individually.
I hope this helps.

thnx. look at this theme. is seems that it appears my photos in main page but when i go INTO the post my photo appears twice like that: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p428uy32ipf8j2s/q2.PNG?dl=0 which is very ugly.. any ideas how to use this theme so that i wont set 500 feature images in my blog with another theme? (dont use the first post use anything else, first post has featured image set from before)
-
– secondly how about using a plugin to set the first image as feature image? is there any?
https://wordpress.com/plugins/auto-post-thumbnail/efriendgrwp.wordpress.com
and third if i buy a plan for one year hosting (i will keep my domain where it is i suppose) how much space should i buy? how can i estimate how much space is NOW all my posts? so that to calculate in one year how much space will i need more?
-
see this as well
Automatically Set the First Post Image as a Featured Image in WordPress
there are ways
“the script checks the specific post to see if it has a featured image set. If not, then the script checks for others images in the post, grabs the first one it find, and sets this image as the featured image. “ -
Hello there,
any ideas how to use this theme so that i wont set 500 feature images in my blog with another theme?
It’s possible to disable the featured images on single posts, but still use them as a thumbnail.
To do this, please go to Appearance > Customize > Content options > untick “Display on single posts”.

https://www.gavick.com/blog/wordpress-automatically-set-post-featured-imageIt’s possible to use plugins and scripts like the above on the WordPress.com business plan: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
I hope this helps.

Appearance > Customize > Content options > untick “Display on single posts”. WORKED! its all ok i think now! business plan is very expensive for me, i will may buy a cheaper one. plugins are only available on business plan? what about Css i still need to buy business class?
-
Hello there,
Glad to see that worked!
The business plan is available via a monthly payment if that’s of interest?
CSS is available on the premium plan.
I hope this helps.
