Import Demo not working

  Hi guys,

  I need help, I bought a theme about two years ago and I started messing around with it to create a page for my business. I now want to completely revert back to that theme but I edited the parent theme, not the child theme. I tried re-installing the theme then loading Demo data for the theme, but it doesn’t work. It keeps giving me errors, but no specific one. I have tried enabling url ftp on the server side, and increasing max file size etc, but it isn’t working.

  I must add, it doesn’t work also with other themes. Free themes, I cannot import the demo data.

  Hi Chris –

  It sounds like you’re actually working with the other version of WordPress. That’s the open source WordPress.org software where you have the functionality of installing themes.

  Here at WordPress.com you only get that functionality after upgrading to our business plan.
