Import didn't work – been 28 hrs

Hi there, I need help resetting the import as it’s been over 24 hours and no content has been imported from my XML feed of a self-hosted WordPress.org website. The blog in question is:
https://assyrianrights1.wordpress.comWhat could cause an import to get stuck? Any ideas how this could be resolved? I’d be happy to attempt to do this again but unfortunately the import page now is just stuck on “Processing…”

Noticed something interesting – the categories and media (images) are all imported, but not the posts. Any idea what could have gone wrong in the process?

Guys it’s been 48 hours. I’m a paying customer and I feel really cheated here. I either need to get a refund and move to a platform that gives a crap about its users or you need to help me reset the import!

Seems like the absolute final resort is to export my XML feed into Tumblr and then export from Tumblr and re-import it via that method as when I click on “WordPress” it gets stuck and no one has been responding to my requests for 48+ hours now, either here or elsewhere.
Please stop making it difficult for your users to get support – especially those who pay to be on your service. What’s the point of paying to direct my domain here, paying to remove ads, paying for premium themes only to be completely incapable of even using your service?
Also you should consider allowing users to manually cancel and re-import if it gets stuck, instead of having it just say “Processing” while the content, clearly, is not being processed.
Please help. Come on. It’s not that hard!

Resolved. Had to upgrade to get access to live support chat. Expected better from these forums though.
