Import does not send email when completed

    I launched an Import using an XML file containing 14 blog entries.
    They were completed within 1-2 minutes.
    I was able to edit them, etc.
    However I never received an email, as the message said I would.

    ‘Import WordPress
    Processing…
    We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.’

    This happened several times before.

    So I attempted to import another XML file, however it would not prompt for the XML, it would re-display the above ‘Processing…’ message, as if the Import were not completed, but it WAS.

    I reiterate, I successfully imported 4 XML files now, however it has NOT sent an email confirming that the Import is complete. Even though it IS completed!

    Please advise how the Import notification and timing works!

    It sounds like it thinks it was not complete or it would have sent that email. Let us know which importer you were using and we’ll take a look.
