import downloaded file to wordpress

Add topic to favorites
I failed to migrating live space to wordpress, and now my live space is no longer available.
But I have downloaded my live space. I found each entry is an HTML file.
How can I import these file to wordpress?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I was under the impression that spaces would not be shut down for about six months. Did you try the migration and it failed?

Where did you get the HTML files?

One other thing, if you tried the migration and it didn’t work, your stuff on live space is still there, just not accessible to you. Staff here can help and get your stuff for you. There have been a few migrations that had problems and they were able to recover everything.

I understand. I asked about migration yesterday.

Staff in live gave me a link so that I downloaded all my blogs. But it seems I cannot do the migration to WP another time.

Talk to staff here about it. I think there is probably something they can do for you. Give them all the details.

Try migrating during early morning United States time where traffic might be lighter.

The download files that Windows Live Spaces provides do not have enough information for us to import at this time.

Your import was merely stuck and I was able to fix it and restart the process for you – the posts are moving over now.
