Import error after migrating half my .xml files…what now?

  I have succeeded in migrating the first (I think) two .xml files out of the total 4 files, but then I received an email stating that there was an error while performing the blog import. Now when I go to “Tools ->Import,” the page is stuck on “Processing…We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.” It’s been several days. Please help!

  Not to worry as Staff will assist with this import. I’ll tag this thread for their help. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  I have manually reset the importer for you. Please try your import again.

  If this is a Xanga import, please see the instructions below:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/

  Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.
