Import – Export from WordPress.com to WordPress.org

Add topic to favorites
Hello,

I am wondering, when I export out my blog from WP.com to WP.org – will all the comments, likes and stats be exported and then imported into my new self-hosted website?!

OR

ONLY the posts and medias are exported/imported?!

Hi there!

First, please install Jetpack if you haven’t already :)

For Stats, you’ll need the Staff’s help for this. I tagged them so they should swing by this thread shortly.

For Comments, yes, they will be included in the export and import.

As for Likes, according to this thread, Likes won’t be transferred.
