IMPORT/ EXPORT problems

  hi, I’m helping a spanish friend create a site with WordPress (http://casalafuentealmonaster.wordpress.com). He now wants to make an english version too, so we created a new address (http://theholidaycottage.wordpress.com), went to TOOLS/ EXPORT and did what you advise. The transfer worked fine, except the THEME and BACKGROUND didn’t get passed across. How do I unravel this, or should I just change those in the ordinary way?

  Exports only carry over content, not theme or design customizations, so you’ll need to redo those on the new site.

  If you need any help with that, just let us know.

  thanks for getting back to me. I had a go at changing the theme and all is well now. Thanks again.
