Import Failed

  Received an email saying import failed and I cannot continue to import XML files onto the system.

  Please help.

  Hi there,
  Sometimes the importer gets stuck. I tagged this thread for Staff to reset it for you. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

  Hi there,

  Sorry you are having trouble. I deleted the import job again.

  A few things:

  • How large are the smaller XML files you are trying to import?
  • What browser are you using while attempting the import? Some browsers such as IE 8 and 9 are not compatible with the importer. Try a different browser to see if the file imports successfully.

  With those things above in mind, try to import again and let me know if you have any success. If not, I will see what we can do to get the import over to WordPress successfully.

  Hi there,

  I am not quite sure what the problem is since the file size is less than 200kb and I am using Chrome uploading the file.

  I have just tried again but then it went failed again.

  Please advise.
