Import failed, no new import possible

    Hi,

I tried to import post from another wordpress.com hosted blog, where I did an export.
The import failed, and I received an e-mail, telling me the following:
We are sorry, but there was an error while performing your blog import to http://hosebei.wordpress.com.

Please contact support, mention error code 406, and we’ll get everything fixed:
    ——–
But now, when I select to import from wordpress, the webpage tells me to wait for that e-mail, which I have already received. I cannot try again to import these blog posts.
I was not able to find some links about this “error code 406”.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Martin,

Sorry for the trouble with that import! I am checking with our team now to see if we can resolve that error and finish that import for you. I will let you know as soon as I have an update about that. :)

    Hi Martin,

Our team finished your import for you, so you’ll find your imported content on your site now. Please let me know if you notice any problems with that imported content, or if you have any other questions about it. :)

    Hi Rachel,

thank you very much for doing that! It seems very fine, but I haven’t time to check everything.
But when I go to the Import section, it still tells me, that the import is still running. So I would not be able to import other blog posts, if I have some (I do not have, but just in case).

    Hi Martin,

Thanks for letting me know! I just reset your site’s importer so you can import more blog posts in the future, if you need.

thank you very much, everything is now as expected!
