Import fails: "There don't appear to be any authors in your import file."

  Hi.

  I downloaded a backup file from my blogger site. But when I uploaded it to https://basil83.wordpress.com , I constantly see the very same error message:

  There don’t appear to be any authors in your import file.
  Make sure you are using a valid WordPress export file in XML or ZIP format.

  What can I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Start by getting a new export file from the Blogger site if that’s possible. Make sure it’s in the proper format and that you’ve unzipped it.
