Import File Disappeared

  Okay, so I tried to import one file -no problem! Now, I can’t find it. I looked everywhere and I feel truly dumb now.

  Can someone tell me where these files land when added to WordPress?

  Well, it should still be on your desktop or whereever you save it. :)

  Take a look at Dashboard -> Manage -> Uploads. It should be in there as well.

  Hi drmike.

  I can’t find it. First of all, I should tell you, I was importing a Microsoft Word file. Am I able to do this or should I just manually add the document to my blog.

  Manually add in the doc into the post. Not sure exactly how you were trying to import it but you should be able to copy and paste it into the Visual tab of your editor. It’s not going to be perfect but from recent threads here, it won’t be that bad.
