Import file size

  Hi. I want to import my blog from Blogger but cannot, presumably because it’s greater than 15 mb (it’s 16.6). If I upgrade to Premium will I be able to use the Import function?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No.

  Can you break up the export file into chunks by date or by category? Then you can import each piece separately.

  Hi. Thanks for that…and so fast! Do I simply open the XML document and split it up? You sure WP could re-unite them?

  I’m not sure how you do it, because I’ve never imported to WP.com, but I’m sure the instructions are easily found via search engines. And yes, I’m sure WP will reunite them.

  If your blogger export file is larger than 15MB, you will need to provide it to us so we can run the import on our end.

  Please provide the following:

  1) a link to a location where we can download the file (dropbox or similar)
  2) the WordPress.com blog where the import should end up
