Import Fonts to CSS

  Hi I have purchased the wordpress.com upgrade, so I am just editing the style.css in the panel on wordpress.com

  everytime i try to import a google font, by placing

  @import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Indie+Flower|Quattrocento);

  at the top, and then using the appropriate font-family:, it works for a moment, but as soon as I save and refresh, it deletes the import code from the stylesheet.

  help please?

  http://www.thecraftyfrugaler.com/ is not a free hosted WordPress.com blogs. They are the only blogs we provide support for here on the WordPress.com support forums.

  You are lost and posting to the wrong support forum. That site is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog and we can’t help with it. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.

  all i need to know is why the import fonts isnt working

  Did you read the custom fonts section carefully? As far as I can tell the only fonts you can import are from TypeKit Fonts.

  Hi there, as timethief mentioned, at the moment it’s not possible to embed Google fonts, only TypeKit fonts.

  I hope this clarifies things. Just let me know if you need further help.
