Import form another WordPress site has stalled/failed

  the import of the website from an .XML file from another WordPress site seems to have stalled/failed. I have followed the instructions correctly (export from Site 1, import into Site 2) but only one (1) page has imported (the 1 page that was in draft).

  When I attempt to re-start the import I receive the following message:
  “We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.”

  It has now been more than 48 hours and no change or ability to import.

  Any ideas?

  Sometimes the importer gets stuck. I tagged this thread for Staff to reset it for you. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

  I’ve reset the importer for you. You should be all set to try again.
