Import from another website

    Hello there,

    I am wondering if I am able to import all the content on a current website to wordpress. I do not currently know what platform the website was built on as this was done years ago.

    Ill however like to import all the existing content as well as add more things on the new wordpress website

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hey there ajajaoladipogmailcom,

    It is possible to import your blog content from a variety of other blogging platforms, including Blogger, Israblog, LiveJournal, Movable Type, Tumblr, Typepad, Xanga and more.

    If you have no idea what platform the website was built on, you could try converting it into one of the accepted formats so that you can use the proper importer. This means you first convert your blog to one of the services mentioned above (such as Blogger), and then import your blog from Blogger to WordPress.com.

    To reach the import screen, simply log into your WP Admin dashboard, then go to Tools → Import, choose your platform and follow the instructions.
