Import from another WordPress blog

  I am importing “Pages” from another WordPress blog. I wish to do this to keep the complete layout and change the information to fit my new theme.

  Have I done the right thing? If not could you please guide me.

  You cannot import a theme or layout. Are you clear on that? All you can import is blog content. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
