Import from Blogger

  I have recently imported my posts and some pages from Blogger to WordPress. However, on WordPress I keep getting the slash symbol / before an apostrophe whenever there is one in the text in the post. Here is an example :
  I’ve enlarged the plaque on the wall so you can read about it.  The skull above the door is a nice touch, don’t you think?
  Why is this happening and how can I avoid it if I try to import again?

  There wasn’t a slash symbol in your example. Could you please share a link to the post on your site (and if the Blogger version is still live, a link to that original as well) so that we can investigate further?

  Hi there,

  I can see the backslash () before the apostrophe in your latest posts.

  Can you please let me know if this happened now or it was always the case?

  Also, can you send me the export file so I can have a look? You can send it using a service like https://www.filedropper.com/
