Import from Blogger

  I have a couple blogger blogs to convert to WordPress. One conversion went great but the other is giving me a problem. If you scroll down to the bottom you can see the sidebar content is all below the posts instead of in a right sidebar. If you go to the About page it will render ok. I’ve tried a couple different themes but they act the same. The blog I’m importing from is http://jennsblog.familytreecounseling.com.

  Yep, you’ve got some bad code. You’ve got an unclosed tag, either in the first post or the second, and you’ll need to go to your Dashboard->Settings->General and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML” and then edit the top post and the second one. Just make any change at all, it doesn’t matter, and hit Update. That should fix it.
