Import from blogger outdated?
-
Dear people of support,
I want to export my blog from Blogger to WordPress and I’ve found two articles from your website explaining how to do this. One says ‘To find the importer, log in to WordPress.com and select My Sites in the top left of your screen. If you have more than one WordPress, select the site you’re moving to. In the sidebar, select WP Admin’. I can’t find this ‘WP Admin’ anywhere. The other article tells me ‘Simply log into your WordPress.com blog dashboard, then go to Tools → Import, choose your previous platform and follow the instructions’. But I can’t find this option either. That’s why I thought maybe there’s a new layout to WordPress since these articles were published and I need to look somewhere else for this option?
I look forward to your response.Kind regards,

The documentation needs to be adjusted, and I will look into that. Sorry for the trouble!
Currently, you can reach the WP Admin page mentioned in the help page you saw by adding /wp-admin to the end of your home page URL.
Here is a direct link to the import admin page inside your blog:
https://randomlifepictures.wordpress.com/wp-admin/import.phpImports are in the process of being added to the main https://wordpress.com/settings pages soon, but they are not ready quite yet.

I have updated the following two help pages to try to make them a little more clear in the short term. Thank you again for the feedback.
