Import from blogger.com
-
Maybe this has been mentioned before, but i havent been able to find the answer. The case is as follows:
I am trying to import the posts from my blog (http://next2tech.blogspot.com) to my new WordPress-blog (http://next2tech.wordpress.com) – but i come up short.
What happens:
1. I choose import blogger from the “Import menu”
2. I am then taken to a page that starts with “Howdy!” – which asks me to autorize the access to Blogger.com
3. I then am taken to Google, where i grant the permission – which again takes me to a new page
4. This page links to either http://next2tech.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?import=blogger&noheader=true or to Google Start Page – i choose the first
5. I am then taken to a page that starts with “Howdy” – which asks me to autorize the access to Blogger.com
6. I then am taken to Google …
… and so on in a neverending loopThat can I do?

That does sound frustrating. I’d log out entirely of everything, clear browser cache and cookies, and do a restart. On occasion that flushes out whatever causes an incompatibility. It certainly can’t hurt.
If that doesn’t do it, you might want to sign in to Blogger before attempting the import and just remain signed in the whole time.

Dont know is the system was down or what – worked like a charm now. Did exactly the same as yesterday … but whatever – problem solved!
