import from Drupal
-
Hello! i would like to try wordpress with my own domain, and I have several doubt. First, I own already this blog (www.ssreyes-cmenorca.com) which is done with the CMS Drupal, I want to import to my new wordpress account (by the moment http://www.ssreyesccmenorca.wordpress.com but “wordpress” would be removed by paying 15€/year) How can I do it ? I can’t obtain a file from the Drupal account because I am not the administrator and the administrator cannot do it.
Also, how can I do for removing the ads in my website? ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

import from Drupal
I can’t obtain a file from the Drupal account because I am not the administrator and the administrator cannot do it
I’m afraid that is not possible.

But in the link you sent me, they said that it is possible to import content from Drupal!
So it is not possible to import content from Drupal at all,
or just I can’t because I am not the administrator?Thanks

Yes, from Drupal to WordPress.ORG (this forum is for blogs hosted by WordPress.COM).
See here for the differences: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
and please, read again the answer
You need to be over at the wordpress.ORG forums for this one. Yes it is possible. Sometimes it is smooth. Sometimes it is like a black diamond run on one ski with no poles.
Whether you can duplicate the look is only dependent on your skills with XHTML, PHP scripting and CSS.
There are things with a wordpress installation that will have to be done differently from a Drupal installation.
and the rest.
