How would we know that here?
Doesn’t freewebs have a forum?
Don’t they have a FAQs?
Can’t you find out from them if they have an exporter that creates an xml file?
And if they don’t have an exporter then do the blogs there have rss feeds?
BTW you forgot to post a links to freewebs. -
P.S. I also found this in the forum searchbox https://en.forums.wordpress.com/search.php?q=freeweb

Hello,
I’m sorry
There is no forum on freewebs and desperately few info on the net. The website of freewebs = http://www.freewebs.com
I cannot find anything about exporting in the Faq of freewebs (they probarbly do not like the idea) However I do have an rss feed http://blogs.members.freewebs.com/Members/Blogs/viewBlogRSS.jsp?userid=27925375
What am I able to do with that?
Thanks in advance for answering the questions!!greetings

Here’s the link to instructions for importing using the rss feed http://options.wordpress.com/2006/04/09/howto-import-into-wordpresscom-from-another-weblog-using-rss-feed/

Keep in mind that that solution only works with the excepts of the feed itself and was reported to shoot in the odd code error. How big of a blog are we talking here? Copying and pasting new entries and then changing the timestamps afterwards to reflect the original times might be faster and easier. As well, if you can control the number of items in their RSS Feed, you might be able to save that file and then try importing it. It might not be perfect, but I have tested bringing in an RSS feed and it “kinda” works. Still might be best to just copy the posts across though as it will at least be right and what you want (let alone supported!)
