Import from Google Blogger trouble

I’m trying to port my blog entrys from my blogger blog http://brew-blog.blogspot.com/ to my new install of WordPress on my own hosting at http://www.brewpse.co.uk/blog/
I can’t get wordpress to import from google’s blogger, I follow the tools>import>blogger and I get redirected to google to log in. However I then get the following error from google.
“The page you have requested cannot be displayed. Another site was requesting access to your Google Account, but sent a malformed request. Please contact the site that you were trying to use when you received this message to inform them of the error. A detailed error message follows:
The site “http://co.uk” has not been registered.”I have tryed this from two different internet connections and in safari, firefox and opera and get the same response.
I have also tryed a number methods to import my Blogger xml file into wordpress all with no luck.
I have also tryed creating a blog here at WordPress.com and I get the same autharisation error at google.
Surely there has got to be an easy way to make this work, what am I missing

You’re probably not doing anything wrong. Here’s a thread with over 100 posts in it saying more or less the same thing; it seems to be an issue on Google’s side:

It is. They stopped this and the last I heard we are waiting for information from them.

Right then thanks for that so is there any way to import from Blogger either direct through google or via the downloaded xml file? Has anybody done a cross refferece of what the tags need to be?
