Import from GroupSite

    I am looking to import blogs from my groupsite account. Currently I have blogs (groupsite calls them discussions) and member information exported as an XML file. Is there a non-week-long-pull-my-hair-out solution to getting this data imported? I am looking at the XML files in visual studio now, and there is like 60k lines. We are in the process of setting up our wordpress site with WP Members and BBPress. Really looking forward to it, however the board only cares about 1 thing – getting all the discussion and member data transferred. Any help/guidance would be VERY appreciated.

    Are you talking about http://brettjsmith1.wordpress.com/ ? It sounds like you are not talking about a blog hosted at WordPress.com, in which case you need to be at WordPress.ORG for help with that version of the software.
