Import from Squarespace

  I am attempting to move my content from Squarespace, eventually to a self-hosted wordpress.org site. It is my understanding that importing into wordpress.COM site first will bring along images. It looks like this is not the case, as my images are all hot linked to the originals on Squarespace’s servers. Any clue on how I can get this to work?

  Hi @markleichliter, it looks like some of your images came through but others did not.
  When that happens we basically have a developer do some manual stuff to see if we can get the files for you.

  I’m not sure what causes that sometimes, but I’ll check to see if we can help out & will update you when I hear back.

  Hi @markleichliter, one of our developers was able to pull in most of the images for you.

  This post still wasn’t working right, so you will need to fix its images by hand, but the rest should be okay.
