Import from Squarespace

  I am trying to import my XML file from squarespace. I was advised to use the moveable type importer. I received the email confirmation immediately however, the wrong link to a website that I don’t even know . I have tried 2x and the same result. Looking for advice!!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you referring to your above site at kristenrubioblog.wordpress.com or a different site?

  I contacted Squarespace and the XML file is correct.

  Hi kristenarubio,

  Our documentation recommends using the WordPress importer for Squarespace imports, can you give that a try?

  Let me know how you get on.

  Just tried the WordPress importer and got the same result :(

  Hi kristenarubio,

  I’ve checked your site today and it looks like the import has been successful — there are now 59 published posts and 4 drafts on kristenrubioblog.wordpress.com.

  In one of your previous replies you mentioned the email contained a link to a website that you don’t know. What is the URL of the site?

  The confirmation email gives me this link: clitools.wordpress.com

  I do see my blog filled in on my new site. So it appears to have finally worked! I didn’t expect all to cross over perfectly though the about did not come in at all.
