Import from squarespace does not work

When I import the xml file from Squarespace, and then view the site, it only shows me the wordpress default template.

To change what’s displayed on your homepage, go to My Site>Design>Customize>Homepage settings.
Then, you can also work on your menu and add there the pages you want as explained here:
https://wordpress.com/support/menus/#add-menu-items
