Import from Squarespace not working

  Hi,
  I’m trying to migrate my site from Squarespace to WordPress and the import isn’t working. It shows that it is processing the posts/pages but then there is nothing but the WP placeholder content on my site.
  What is going on? I’m using a wordpress specific .xml file and this shouldnt be happening.

  Hi there,

  Can you please confirm the address of the site you’re importing to?

  There has been no activity at all on http://elizabethohurst.wordpress.com/ since 2012, and I don’t see any recent import attempts on that site.

  The site I need help with is anotherword4giant.wordpress.com.

  I think the other URL listed in my initial message must have been automated?
  As you’ll see there is nothing on the blog though I have gotten several emails congratulating me on my content being imported.

  Hi there,

  I see that 188 posts have been imported along with photos. Are you missing posts and do you need more help with that?

  When I go to anotherword4giant.wordpress.com I see nothing but the sample text. I wish I could share a screenshot of what I see. It’s the “welcome to my blog” standard start page.

  I have a blog anotherwordforgiant.wordpress.com that has content but I trying to import to anotherword4giant.

  This is so frustrating. I asked squarespace and they said the .csv file on their end looks fine after exporting and so it is a WordPress upload issue.
  Please help!

  Sorry I got confused, I only have anotherword4giant.wordpress.com. But when I go to any browser on my mobile or desktop I don’t see any imported content

  Yeah it looks like it’s just the theme / front page layout you’ve chosen. Do you want to just display a list of blog posts on the front page, or do you have something else in mind?

  To just show your latest posts, head to My Site > Design > Customize, and click on Front Page Settings. Set the page to show latest posts.
