Import from Tumblr

Hello, I’m trying to import my main and side blog from Tumblr, but the import tool doesn’t seem to work. When I click on ‘Import this blog’, I get a message that I need to wait for the ‘current’ import to finish. However, a few hours have past and nothing has been imported at all. The ‘Clear account information’ button doesn’t do much either, nor does trying to connect to Tumblr again. Does anyone know what I should do?

Due to the changes at tumblr there is currently heavy traffic at the WordPress.com importer so please be patient as staff work through the backlog. They need to reset your importer themselves. -

I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again.
If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.
If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.
