Import from Xanga

I imported 5 files from Xanga but I can’t find them on my WordPress blog. I received confirmation emails for each file saying the import was successful. Where would I find these files? Why aren’t there any instructions on where to find them?

Sometimes the importer gets stuck. If you wait for24 hours and experience no results, then you can type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help and they will reset the importer for you. Hey there @neratigree — will you try importing again now? We’ve just fixed the issue that was giving you trouble before.

I was able to import two out of the five files that I downloaded from Xanga, but it won’t let me import any more? I imported two back to back and now it’s stuck on a page saying ‘Processing’, when that page previously went away immediately.

Actually it usually takes a little while to finish. The “instant” thing you were seeing before was part of the trouble we fixed.
It does look like it’s finished processing your latest export file though, so if you’d like to go ahead and upload the next one that would be great.
