import from Xanga

Hi, I would like to import the posts from Xanga to this site but I got some problems. Following the guidances, I had already imported and received a confirmation mail telling me the import was successful. However, I cannot find the posts in this site. So I’m writing for help and please help me to solve this problem. Thanks a lot.

Hi @yanku0525, did you import each file, in order? Usually we see this if a file was missed.

@yanku0525 Hmm, I’ve never heard of a xanga import with only one xml file.
Did you get a zip file from them? Are you using these steps?

@supernovia Yes, I got a zip file and after converting there’s only one xml file, which cannot be imported into my site. :(

Hmm, that’s interesting. Please go ahead and make a new export from them. It should have several files in it. If that still does not work, you can upload the xml to a service like Cloudup or Dropbox, and we’ll take a look at it.
