Import from xanga

  the file downloaded from xanga is already a XML file, but wordpress still said it is not a XML file.
  And I have followed all the steps listed in the guide.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,
  Instructions on how to do a Xanga import are here http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/

  Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually before your import will show up on WordPress.com.

  I don’t see any attempted imports of .xml files from Xanga on your blog at cocoching926.wordpress.com. Did you open your Xanga export .zip folder and try importing the .xml files within it?

  @timethief, after the last thread, it’s a possibility.

  @cochingtsang, please let me know if you were trying to import the .xml files from your Xanga export file or the .zip folder itself. It would also help to know which browser you used (along with browser version) and if you are able to use the importer in a different browser.
