Hi there,
You need only to wait for 24 hours before asking for Staff help.
Hopefully you removed unmoderated and spam comments and emptied the trash prior to creating the XML export file.
Is the site you exported from still online?
If it is then what is the URL please?
Sometimes the importer gets stuck. If the file is large you may have to import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. Or if the file is very large Staff may have to do the import.

It was a big file and I had not cleaned the comments. I’ve done so now, just waiting for a reset of the importer.

Okay then if the unmoderated comments and spam are gone and the trash is empty then you have done all that you can do to create a clean XML file.
How large is the XML file?

Aha! That made a quite a difference didn’t it? All you have to do now is subscribe to this thread a patiently wait for Staff to reset the importer.
