I try to import an xml file from another account WordPress ORG. It has present day remains unsolved the problem, follow the import process. This is the message:

Processing …We are processing your import now and we’ll send you an email when it is all done. If we do within 24 hours, please contact support and we all settled.

How large is the file please? Sometimes the importer gets stuck and we have to ask Staff to reset it.
When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. Hi @mariovalverde,
I’ve reset the importer for you. Can you try making an export file again, this time removing any unmoderated spam comments first? You will also want to be sure the images at your old host are accessible.
If it still does not import for you, let us know; we’ll contact you via email to get your XML file and we’ll try again from our end.

My WordPress.org self hosted XML file is 38.3 mb. Much larger than the limit posted, I found out after the fact, Oooops.
Is there a way to import my blog in smaller portions?

@rileyadamvoth, I couldn’t see logs for what went wrong in your import. I’ve contacted you via email for your import file.

@photojimsfwp Hi, yeah that’s pretty big. I’ve reset your importer for you.
You will also want to clear out any spammy pending comments. Then if you’d like you can run the file through a WXR splitter (if you’ll google that you’ll find some).
Or, if you will grab a clean import (after spammy comments are cleared out) we can email you to get the file & try importing from our end.

Thanks so much @supernovia! It took a little research to learn how to delete so much spam and feedback, but after the file was just under 5mb. It loaded nice and quick.

Thanks @photojimsfwp. And to be clear, one doesn’t have delete real feedback. Even most spammy feedback will import fine. But some commentators try to be malicious, and those really can snag an import.
