Import individual posts from WP blog to WP blog in real-time

    Hi,

I run two WP blogs hosted on our site. One is available to the public, another is hosted on a private community server. I want to sync the two blogs to have exactly the same content. I want to add posts to the public blog and then have them automatically populate the blog on the private server. What is the best way to do this? Is there a specific plugin or some RSS import function?

    Thanks,

This is the wordpress.COM support forum.

WordPress.com is a hosted blog service. You do not have to download software, pay for hosting or manage a web server. WordPress.com does not permit uploading themes or plugins, advertsising or blogs created by automatic content delivery.

WordPress.org is free software. You can install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database. Check out our article on the differences.

Both blogs are hosted by wordpress.COM, under our site’s domain.

    Thanks.

I want to sync the two blogs to have exactly the same content.

Doing that will result in a Google duplicate content openality as well it should. Creating two blogs with the same content amounts to dluting the relevancy of search engine results.

I want to add posts to the public blog and then have them automatically populate the blog on the private server.

wordpress.com does not allow blogs to be created by automatic posting.
