Import into new blog has lost almost all media attachments and posts

  On Feb 20, 2013 I exported all posts from dmxart.wordpress.com. I then imported the xml file into a new blog digitaldmx.wordpress.com. I now find that I have lost all media attachments prior to Nov 2011 and therefore the associated posts. I have tried reattaching manually with inconsistent results, and in any case there are far too many items to do this for all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Haven’t had any replies so I’ve decided to cut my losses and delete everything that doesn’t work. Unfortunately, I’ll be losing a huge number of posts and related artwork. Thanks WP!
