I still see the message ‘We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.’ after 5 hours of importing.

How do I fix it?

I have deleted the import job. Please try running the import again:

hieuminh1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/import.php

If it fails again, let us know, and we can further investigate the issue for you.

Sorry you are having trouble. I deleted the import job again.

A few things:
- How large are the smaller XML files you are trying to import?
- What platform are you importing from? Are you importing from another WordPress blog? Xanga?
- What browser are you using while attempting the import? Some browsers such as IE 8 and 9 are not compatible with the importer. Try a different browser to see if the file imports successfully.
With those things above in mind, try to import again and let me know if you have any success. If not, I will see what we can do to get the import over to WordPress successfully.

I’m importing from a self-hosted WordPress and the xml size is only 417,5 KB. I use google chrome to do the import. I’ve tried again but still no progress until now.

I have the same problem of furezia, I am faustomates.wordpress.com and I have waited for 1 month… The import process isn’t still completed

I tried with Firefox and my blog file .xml is imported from blog.com.es,
only 124 kb. I can’t delete the import process from my own.
What should I do?

I am importing my blog from “blog.co.uk”.
