Import Issue

  Greeting,
  I am facing a problem with importing site contents of other WordPress.
  It says ‘An unspecified error occured during the import.’

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  What is the address of the site you got the export file from, and what WordPress.com site are you trying to import to? I don’t see any attempted imports on jvoltci.wordpress.com

  Are you trying to import a file ending in .xml or in .zip? If you have a .zip file, you’ll first need to unzip that file, and then import the individual .xml files inside that folder.

  Actually, jvoltci.wordpress.com is my primary site. It was my mistake. The problem is with ivehement.wordpress.com Please see what’s wrong with the importing process.

  Hi there, according to our logs, the import to ivehement.wordpress.com was successful 1 day ago although I’m not seeing anything by one post and a contact page.

  What is the address of the site that you exported your content from? Is that site here at WordPress.com, or was it hosted elsewhere?

  Also, can you check and see what the file size is on the export file you have on your computer?
