Import keeps stating 'Processing'

  Hi, I have been trying to import my files from Xanga since 2013.
  But it kept saying ‘Processing’ after I selected a particular file, so I gave up.

  Now it is 2015, and I wish to continue my importing process, but WordPress still states that it is ‘Processing’. Please help!! Will I never be able to bring all my blog content over?

  Sometimes the importer gets stuck. I tagged this thread with modlook for Staff to reset it for you. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

  Hi @timethief and helper-brucea, thank you so much for your help!

  The previous “Processing” finally stopped, and I could Import again. But after Importing my next set of posts, it is stuck at “Processing” again even though the posts have all been uploaded to my WordPress again.

  Please help!

  Can you tell me some more about where things are at right now? Did the posts all import, but the import tool is still saying “processing?”

  Hi Bruce, yes, all the posts were imported, but the import tool still states “processing”.

  The import seems to have stopped, but I’m wondering if the images in the posts are what keeps getting it stuck.
