  I tried to import from my wordpress.org site to my wordpress.com site (yes, from paid to free) but it’s been about 48-72 hours.

  Does it usually take that long?

  The fact you have an upgrade doesn’t even enter the picture here. Sometimes the importer gets stuck. To get Staff to reset the importer type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread.
