Import not successful – and how do I import images/media?

    I used the import tool to import from an old self-hosted WP site, and I got an email confirmation saying the import was successful, but I’m not seeing any data. Also, once that’s done, how do I import the media from the old site? Your “moving a blog” help page said I’d see an option to Download & import file attachments, but I’m not seeing that anywhere. Thanks for your help.

    Hi there – that option is only for when you’re importing into a self-hosted WordPress site. It doesn’t appear when you’re importing into a WordPress.com site; the media should still be included. Can you please try the import one more time? If it still doesn’t work for you, let me know.
