Import Not working

  I have been trying for 2 days now to import a blogs xlm data to one that we are hosting on 1&1. The file is 3.16 megs. So after it didnt work for the whole file, I tried to split the file into multiple smaller files surrounded by the channel data and ending with /channel /rss The problem I seem to have is I can only do one import. So I tried to split the end of the file so i have a test1.xml and test2.xml both with only 7 items in them. The first one goes through fine and gets me to the have fun link. Any file I try to import after that just hangs, no matter what the size, just the blank white screen on the import. Any ideas, this is driving me crazy.

  If you’re hosting it somewhere other than wordpress.com, you probably want to go ask for help on the wordpress.org forums. Most of the folks here are only familiar with the wordpress.com hosting setup.

  I understand your frustration, but we use different software here. The gurus at wordpress.org are the ones who know installs inside and out.
