Import not working

  Hi there,

  Trying to import my site from a different domain, also wordpress. Exported as an XML. Can’t import into the site. IT’s saying that there will be someone contact me when it’s done – no one’s contacted.

  Where are you importing from?
  Is that site still online?
  What size is the XML file, please?

  Sometimes the importer gets stuck.
  If the file is large you may have to import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. Or if the file is very large Staff may have to do the import.

  Hi there,

  I do not see a pending import under your account.

  As @Timethief mentioned:

  Where are you importing from? A WordPress selfhosted site? Xanga?

  I see under your account indicates that your XML was imported and there is content on your site. Did everything import successfully?

  I have the same problem. I am trying to export a wordpress blog from http://www.coetail.com/techmama/ to https://mamatechnology.wordpress.com/

  It’s been stuck for a while. I just tried importing the XML file again and it doesn’t let me load the file. It just goes to a screen that says

  Import WordPress
  Processing…

  We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.

  Please help, thanks.

  I am running a training on setting up a class/professional blog on Wednesday and it would be great if all the posts were moved over before that.

  I have deleted the import job. Can you please try running the import again?
