Importing a site
I’ve generated the export (~6MB), and trying to import the file in wordpress.com it get stuck (it’s been three hours…)
Also when uploading I got an error, something like ‘upload not defined’, something like that.
How I do cancel the import and start over ?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We wait for 24 hours before asking for Staff help.
Hopefully you removed unmoderated and spam comments prior to creating the XML export file.
Is the site you exported from still online?
If it is then what is the URL please?
Sometimes the importer gets stuck. If the file is large you may have to import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. Or if the file is very large Staff may have to do the import.

Well, I started over, it seems better, but now it get stuck at “Waiting on 31 resources to import”

Thanks for giving the import another try. It can take up to 24 hours to import depending on the file size. It sounds like it’s trying to work for you now though. I’ll keep this thread open. Please post back here tomorrow if it hasn’t successfully gone through.

and now I cannot upload the original theme because is thirdy party one :-(

That’s correct. Themes cannot be transferred between wordpress.COM and wordpress.ORG sites and no third party themes can be used on WordPress.COM hosted sites. The two run on different software and have different versions of themes with the same names. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes
We cannot:
upload any third party themes,
create child themes,
create our own themes,
edit templates,
create own own layouts,
or use stylesheets from other themes.There is no FTP access to any wordpress.com sites. See:
