Import not working from a self hosted wordpress site to a wordpress.com blog

  Been trying to import posts from a self hosted wordpress site – http://rememberuphaar.com – (v2.9.2) to a wordpress.com blog – rememberuphaar.wordpress.com, but the posts don’t import for some reason. Sometimes only 1 post imports. I have tried it over four different times now.

  I exported it properly from the old site as an xml file (size 1MB) and tried importing. I upload the file, then get the screen asking me to assign the right authors. I choose rememberuphaar as the default author for all and then I just get a blank import screen with no information.

  I took screenshots of all this and would have loved to include them here, but no options for attaching files.

  Howdy,

  Could you try upgrading your self-hosted WordPress installation, and then exporting your blog’s content?
