Import not working from self-hosted

  Hi,

  I have recently expired my hosting for http://www.ohdearism.com and have moved back to wordpress.com. However the import doesn’t seem to have done anything. I have the file on my computer that I exported from my self-hosted blog. I have imported this (there is no checkbox for images contrary to documentation) and have received an email saying import successful.

  However when I go to my new dashboard on wordpress.com, there are no posts or content there.

  I’m really worried that I have somehow lost all my content!

  Please help! There is no documentation for this and all similar posts in the forum have gone unanswered.

  Hi there – Can you please try the import one more time by following these directions:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/coming-from-self-hosted/#migrate-your-content-to-your-wordpress-com-blog

  The import media option only appears if you’re moving to self-hosted, not if you’re moving from self-hosted to .com, so that’s normal.

  If your content still doesn’t come through, please let me know and I’ll have you send along your import file.

  Hi,

  I have tried several times. There is nothing else I can do differently. My hosting has expired so I don’t have the option to try the export again. I Have also received several emails saying the import has been successful. Is there someone who can check my account to see if there is anything going on?

  I’m really worried I’ve lost my content!
